This is the Limited Edition Mini John Cooper Works GP, there are only 459 in the UK and the owner of this particular model, brought his car to our Dunsfold studio to bring back that showroom shine!
Mini’s second-gen JCW GP has 215bhp from a 1.6-litre turbo four-pot. It’s a punchy supermini with distinctive GP livery and bodywork. Unfortunately the paintwork was looking tired and dull due to swirl marks and light scratches caused by modern day hand car washes which is a common occurrence these days with harsh wash chemicals reducing the vibrancy of your cars paintwork.
The swirl marks were pretty heavy in places and a stage 2 machine polish was required. We use various stages of compound machine polishing techniques which are dependant on the depth of damage within the paintwork.
Following a full compound machine polish, our detailing technicians applied GTechniq CSL Black to the entire paintwork.

In addition to ceramic coatings to the paintwork, the wheels were treated with Gtechniq Wheel armour. This is another popular products that provides 1 to 2 years durability and repels brake dust making your rims very easy to keep clean.
